He is survived by: his parents, Edward Calton Thompson, Jr. of Mooresboro and Suzette Collins-Tielman of Forest City; his son Edward Calton Thompson IV of Forest City; his stepdaughters, Sarah Robbins of Ellenboro and Laura Robbins of Rutherfordton; his sister Anna Thompson of Mt. Holly; and his friend Cal.
