He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed M. Lewis and Bertie Tipton Lewis; his wife Janie Lewis; and his son Richard Lewis. He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Lewis (Shirley Whisnant) and Scott Lewis (Amanda); and his siblings, Louise Nanney, Willard Lewis (Irene), Sam Lewis (Dolly) and David Lewis (Brenda). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
