She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Campbell and Agnes Gertrude Nolan Campbell; her husband Allen D. Caldwell; her stepfather Clyde Brooks; her brother David Benjamin Nolan; and her grandson Robert Allen Shea.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Dean Caldwell, Jr. (Amy) of Forest City, Nancy Caldwell of Forest City and Cathy Kozlowski (Tom) of Mooresboro; her stepdaughters, Rose Caldwell of Forest City and Rita Caldwell of Lincolnton; and her siblings, Nance Ruff of Rutherfordton, Donna Ruff (Bud) of Rutherfordton and Clyde Andrew Brooks (Betty) of Mooresboro. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
