She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Edward Carver and Arcenia Byers Carver; her husband Jerry Hollifield; her daughter Lynne Hollifield; and her siblings, Jack Price, Eual Price and Mary Alice Gaither.
She is survived by: her son Bill Hollifield (Kay) of Rutherfordton; her grandchildren, Kate Sand (Rob), Isaac Weiner (Danny), Matt Hollifield (Jessica) and Kaylee Keever (Charlie); and her great grandchildren, R. P. Sand of Riley Hollifield, J. R, McKinley Keever and Ellie Keever.
