He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Dale and Ruth Webb Dale; and his sister Brenda Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Melinda Downey (Mark) of Gastonia, Ray Dale of Dallas, NC, Tina Dale of Forest City and Timmy Dale (Kerry) of Forest City; his siblings, Donnis Greene of Six Points, Sam Dale (Patty) of Rutherfordton, Chris Dale (Janet) of Hendersonville and Kim Loso (Steve) of Sanford, NC; his grandchildren, Scott Millis, Steven Millis, Shawn Millis, Kallup Crowe, Korbin, Dale, Kenley Light and Rayna Dale; and his great grandchildren, Kaspian Crowe and Eden Crowe.
