He was predeceased by: his parent Detroy Briscoe Dalton, Sr.; his brother Dennis Keith; and his grandparents, Jesse, Willie Odom, Will and Minnie Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Jeff (Angie) of Forest City; his grandsons, Alex of High Point, NC and Noah of Raleigh, NC; his stepgranddaughter Emma Welborn of High Point, NC.; and his siblings, Davie (Jan) of Concord, NC, Andy of Raleigh, NC and Kim of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
