It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derrick Davis of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Angel Davis; his brothers, Sonny Lee Davis and Ray Eugene Davis; and his grandparents, Herman, Marie Davis, Leroy and Pearline Doby.
He is survived by: his parents, Herman Davis and Linda Davis; his children, Bryson, Mason, Carson, Benson and Keirrah Davis; and his sisters, Linda Morris (James) of Burke County, Thelma Campbell of Burke County, Camillia Higgins (Rick) of Burke County, Vickie Price (Ricky) of Burke County and Beverley Conner (Joe) of Lake Lure. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
