He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Poplin and Laura Mae Reeves Poplin; and his grandmother Lee Dobbins. He is survived by: his siblings, Carl, Aaron and Edna; his son-in-law Larry Brown; his daughters, Sheila Dotson (David), Patti Brown and Kathy Oleksa (Chuck); his grandchildren, Ben Dotson and Christina Atkins (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Hadley, John Michael and Saylor; his sister Nancy Steelman; and his sister-in-law Jo Poplin.
