David Russ Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2021, at the age of 87, David Russ of Forest City, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Landrum Russ and Beulah Mae Fisher Russ; his former wife Carrie Clark Russ; and his daughter Darlene Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Mary Overcash Russ; his children, Henry David Russ (Pamela) of Forest City, Sandra Yelton (Bruce) of Forest City and Sonja Spicer of Forest City; his sisters, Patsy Caldwell of Caroleen and Linda Moore of Spindale; and his stepchildren, Tonya Turner (David Horton) of Caroleen, Lesia Turner (Herschell Hipps) of Weaverville, Charlie McCraw (Beverly) of Chesnee and Marvin McCraw (Myra) of Inman, SC.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.
