He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil "Junior" Baynard and Jean White Baynard; and his brother Marshall Baynard. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Rhom Baynard; his children, Shawn Baynard of Forest City, Nicole Baynard Burnette (Andy) of Rutherfordton and Christy Baynard of Forest City; his siblings, Terry Baynard (Debbie) of Rutherfordton and Shirley Alley (Dean) of Forest City; and his grandchildren, Caleb Lail, Clayton Burnette and Keaton Burnette.
