He is survived by: his wife Violet Brown Cox; his children, Terry David Cox of Wilkesboro, NC, Luke Kager Cox of North Wilkesboro, NC, Victor Allen Cox of Michigan, Dave Kager Cox, Jr. of Rutherfordton and Nellie Mae Cox of Taylorsville, NC; his brothers, Leroy Cox of Forest City, Marvin Stafford of Forest City and Ray Stafford of Morganton; and his pet Cocoa. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and his pet.
