He is survived by: his children, James "Jamie" Pettit Jr. (Michelle) and Brooke Pettit Watson (Chuck) of Forest City; his grandchildren, James Pettit III (Elizabeth), Colby Lee Pettit (Jessica), Andrew Watson, Brianna Watson and Kayla Watson; his great grandchildren, Caroline and Cooper Dale Pettit; and his sister Kathy Hoyle Klassen (Marvin).
