She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vance Horton and Inez Poteat Horton; her husband James Thomas "Tommy" King, Jr.; her sons, Jim King (Brenda Lee Hunter) of Rutherfordton, Van King (Susie) of Rutherfordton and Don King (Angie) of Forest City; her grandchildren, Isaac King, Benjamin King, Leah King, Zeb King, Simon King, Kinsley King and Malley King; and her great grandchildren, Bryson King, Emma Grace King, Sarah Elizabeth King and Madelynn James King.
