He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Dock Edwards and Annie Trout Edwards; and his siblings, Bobby Gene Edwards and Shirley Edwards Holland. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Scruggs Edwards; his children, Casey Edwards Walker (Gene) of Ellenboro, Dwayne Edwards (Crystal) of Rock Hill, SC, Shane Spratt of Gastonia and Marc Spratt (Annie) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; his sisters, Joyce Hutchins of Forest City and Mary Wall (Howard) of Star, SC.; his grandchildren, Robert Edwards, Christian Warren, Jessie Warren, Jacob Edwards (Addy), Dylan Spratt and Ava Spratt; and his great grandchild Jayce Spratt.
