He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. McFarland, Sr. and Mable Ramsey McFarland; his son Craig McFarland; and his great grandchild Madilyn Hardy. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Martin McFarland; his children, Mark McFarland, Sr. of Forest City and Melody Miller (Paul) of Ellenboro; and his siblings, David Wilson of Morganton and Geraldine King of Henrietta. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
