She was predeceased by: her parents, Zebulon Vance Mace and Lorene Earwood Mace; and her siblings, Donald, Max, Jeffrey Mace, Emma Robbins and Yvonne Melton.
She is survived by: her husband R. H. "Firpo" Epley; her daughters, Teresa Epley Baynard of Forest City, Jennifer Jo Epley of Forest City and Allison Mace Epley of Forest City; her siblings, Vance Mace (Nikki) of Ellenboro, Philip Mace (Sue) of Ellenboro and Helen Ingle of Forest City; and her friends, Sybil Fisher of Ellenboro and Chris Hardin of Forest City. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
