It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Toms (Forest City, North Carolina), born in Goldsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Glen Toms, Sr. and Mary Emma King Toms; and his son Kenny Toms. He is survived by: his wife Jane Shytle Toms; his sons, Keith Toms of Forest City and Kris Toms (Jolee) of Belmont; his brother Warren Toms (Sandra) of Forest City; his daughter-in-law Vickie Burton of Forest City; his grandchildren, Rocky, Kevin, Kelly Gilliam, Kristin, Alyssa, Kaylee and Kaleb; and his great grandchildren, Dawson, Evan, Jayda and Emilia.
