He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Worth Lane; and his wife Mary Lane. He is survived by: his sister Sue Lane of Rutherfordton; and his stepchildren, Randy Bullock of Ellenboro and Ranee Hardy of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
