It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie A. Pearson of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, W. P. Alexander and Lillie Whitesides Alexander Shuford; her husband R. Baxter Pearson, Jr.; her son Hansel "Hank" Stuart Pearson; and her siblings, Sarah Hamrick, Betty Jones, Max Alexander, Arnold Alexander, Ethel Propst and Ray Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Cathe Banks (John) of Spartanburg, Michele Andreas (Karl) of Spartanburg, Camille Luckadoo (Mike) of Rutherfordton and Marc Pearson (Lillian) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Erin Fuseler (Joey), Russ Andreas, Stuart Luckadoo (Tiffany), Hank Pearson, Ella Pearson and Cara Pearson; and her great grandchildren, Hudson and Lincoln Fuseler.
