Bobby D. Whisnant Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby D. Whisnant of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert D. Whisnant and Beatrice Phillips Whisnant; his wives, Betty Whisnant and Diane Whisnant; his son Jeffery Whisnant; and his sister Lois Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Whisnant (Linda) and Libby Hames (Donald) of Mooresboro; his close friend Elizabeth Patty; his brother Gerald Whisnant of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Anissa Hames-Earley (Nathan), Billy Trotter, Lisa Dyer Laughter (Wesley) and Russell Dyer; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby McEntire, Joey McEntire and Julie Norman (David).
