She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Rhymer. She is survived by: her children, Benita R. Beard of Conover, NC and Robert B. Rhymer "Robbie" of Nashville, TN; her son-in-law Edward L. Beard "Eddie" (Larry Johnson); her grandchildren, Taylor, Alexandra Beard of Wilmington, NC, Jordan Beard of Conover, NC and Caleb Beard of Conover, NC.; her sister Kay Francis Dobbins Greene; and her sister-in-law Pat Newton Watson. She is also survived by Aunt to her nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Floyd's Creek Baptist Church (2004 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC 28043). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Floyds Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (2004 Chase High Rd, Forest City, NC 28043).
