It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Koone of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Joe Koone and Ola Rollins Koone; his wife Martha Hyder Koone; his daughter Ronna Koone; and his siblings, Woodrow Koone, Paul Koone and Bonnie Koone.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Koone Bright (Robbie) of Forest City; his siblings, Clyde Koone of Shelby, Myrtle Padgett of Falls Church, VA, Ruby Cole of Hendersonville and Daisy Daughtrey of Spindale; and his grandchildren, Brannon Smith, Jake Bright, Riley Bright and Hank Bright.
