She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Jobe and Hattie Allen Jobe; her husband H. G. "Buddy" Wilkie; her siblings, Allen Jobe and Margaret Sprinkle; and her son-in-law Romey Forest Bridges, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, David Wilkie (Barbara) of Forest City, Suzanne Wilkie Bridges of Winston-Salem and Nancy Jobe Wilkie Kelley (Mike) of Durham; her grandchildren, Drew Wilkie (Megan), Hope Wilkie Williamson (J. J.), Callie Bridges Smith (Lee), Anita Claire Bridges Slade (Brent), Joan Conley Stoeckle (Adam) and Nicklaus Gordon Hermann; and her great grandchildren, Allistair, Emma, Addison Wilkie, Kendra, Jimmy, Kylie Anita, David Drew, Jason Williamson, Abby, Anita Lucy, Will Slade, Conner and Harrison Stoeckle.
