He was predeceased by: his father Max Lee Toney; his uncle W. C. Toney, Jr.; his aunt Gearlean Toney Vickers; and his cousin Tina Toney Flack. He is survived by: his mother Dr. Shirley Putman Toney; his brother Brian Toney of Forest City; his uncle Dan Toney of Forest City; and his aunt Brenda Toney Ennis of Indian Trail, NC.
