It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Phillips (Fletcher, North Carolina), born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 8, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent William Leon Phillips; and his wife Judy Wilkie Phillips. He is survived by: his parent Thelma Courtney Phillips; his children, Charles R. Phillips of Fletcher and Carmen M. Jones (Don Gary Jones) of Laurel Park; and his siblings, J. B. Phillips (Kathy) of Hendersonville, Jerry Phillips of Hendersonville, Lester Phillips (Kelly) of Taylors, SC, Margaret Williams (Richard) of Fletcher and Susie Stewart (Doc) of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by four nieces, and seven nephews.
