She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Brown; her parents, Samuel Logan and Vienna Lola Melton (Bradley); her son Homer Claude Brown; and her brothers, Kenneth, Carlson and Martin Melton.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Brooks of Asheville; her grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Brown Penland (Randy) and Joe Lynn Brown (Sommer); her great grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley Cutshaw, Elijah Penland, Josiah Paul Brown and MiKayla Watkins (Foster); her great great grandchildren, Caden, Greyson Cutshaw, Nicholas Chiah and Aria Watkins; and her sister-in-law Maxine Melton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
