He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, L. Graham Sale of Fletcher and Ann Hipps Sale; his wife Valerie Sale; his children, Joey Sale and Lindsey Lyons (Brad) of Weaverville; his grandchildren, Ruby and Porter; his sisters, Terri Fisher (Tony) of Candler and Tracy Honeycutt (Michael) of Asheville; and his stepsons, Jacob Spivey of South Korea and Liam Spivey.
