It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Martha Bailey Sluder (Fletcher, North Carolina), who passed away on February 15, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bis and Dessie Worley Bailey; her siblings, Jake Bailey, Mildred Bailey Ball and Peggy Bailey Rash; her nephews, David Rash and Jake Bailey, Jr.; and her great-nephew Jonathan Lankton.
She is survived by: her spouse D. R. Sluder, Jr.; her daughter Sheila Fletcher (Chris); her granddaughter Rebecca; her brother Jack Bailey (Martha) of Lakewood, CA; her son Dennis (Christine) of Gilbert, AZ; her son-in-law Chris; and her daughter Rebecca. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
