We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2022, at the age of 71, Russell Gene Barker of Fletcher, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Foy Smith and Charles Isaac Barker; his stepfather Alvin Preston Weathers; and his brother Charles Isaac Barker, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Adcock Barker; his sons, Russell Gene Barker II (Jordan West Barker) of Arden, NC and Charles Jameson Barker (Mallory Myers Barker) of Celina, TX.; his grandsons, Baron Sherbondy Barker (Hannah DeMello Barker) of Morrisville, NC, Garrison West Barker of Arden, Bowie Robinson Barker of Arden and Ridge Jameson Barker of Celina; his brothers-in-law, O. T. Adcock (Sandy) and Randy Adcock (Debbie); and his stepbrother Ronnie Weathers (Mouzetta) of Raleigh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
