He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Marion and Elizabeth Van Horne (Riddell). He is survived by: his wife Mary "Bobo" Van Horne; his children, Van Van Horne (Jill) of Lenoir, NC, R. Stobo Van Horne (Diana) of Lexington, SC and Katherine Van Horne (Tony Bradshaw) of Hendersonville; and his grandchildren, Emma, Elise, Mick, Evan, Julia, Wade, Kate, Max and Eve.
