He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Frances Smith; and also Frances Smith. He is survived by: his significant other Diana Smith; his children, Monty Reagan (Danette) of Denver, CO, Tony Reagan of Asheville, NC and Amy Wamsley (Sean) of Fletcher, NC; his grandchildren, Grace Evelyn and Denver Wamsley; and his cousins, Joyce Towe of Wilmington, DE and Michael Sheldon of Morganton, NC..
