He is survived by: his godson Jerry Lee Benfield Jr. (Karen) of Horse Shoe, NC; his stepmother Margaret Craig of Fairview, NC; his stepsister Wanda Ledford of Black Mountain, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Craig of Fairview, NC. and Edith Craig of Fairview, NC..
