It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Lanning of Fletcher, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rebecca Lanning to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth Calton and Fred William Garren; her spouse Foy Lanning; and her brother Lloyd Garren. She is survived by: her brother Osburne David Garren (Vickie S. Garren) of Mills River; her niece Kristi Garren; her children, Jacob, Jadyn and Jordyn; her nephew Rick (Trisha Garren); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Darian, Brady, Hunter, Dominic, Danica and Magnolia; her nephew Keith (Shannon Garren); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kayla and Emilee; her nephew Kevin Garren; her niece Kacee Garren; and also Kimber.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons through Fletcher First Baptist Church.
