She is survived by: her children, Starling Bernard Underwood Jr., George Underwood (Cassie), James Jimmy Darity (Jenny), Juanita Underwood Lockhart and Deborah Underwood Knox (Keith); her siblings, Mary T. Cunningham (Pierre), Cora T. Robinson, Frances F. Mills (Walter), Betty F. Garner (Edward), Josephine F. Gililand (Robert), Andretta J. McMinn, Alice D. Ware, Theresa Darity, Dian D. Parrish, James Featherstone Jr. (Vickie) and Alfonso Darity; her sister-in-law Dorothy Rothwell; and her friend Dr. Ronald Caldwell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be in the sanctuary of Greater New Zion Baptist Church February 17, 2021 from 11:00 a. m. until 11:45 a. m for the public. **Face masks and social distancing in the Church is Required.** A Private Funeral Service for immediate family will follow.
