He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Boyce Ownbey; his wife Billie Sue Young Owenby; and his sisters, Katharyn and Helen. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Owens, Eddie Owenby (Debbie), Tracy Owenby and Bob Owenby (Sherry). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
