We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2021, at the age of 83, Michael George Cook Sr. of Fletcher, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Barfield Cook and George Ross Cook; his brothers, Jonathan Larry Cook and Jerry Barfield Cook; and his son Andrew Thomas Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Eubanks Cook; his children, Michael George Cook, Jr. (Buzz), Lance Burrell Cook (Shannon Dwyer Cook) and Jonatha Paige Cook; and his grandchildren, Alexandria Tara Cook Thurmond (Cameron Tyler Long) and Tyler Andrew Cook.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity or the First Baptist Church of Asheville.
