She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lee and Rosalie Roper; her husband Claude D. Davis, Sr.; and her siblings, Sarah (Sadie Roper), Ellen Roper Hamlett, Elsie R Spencer and William L. Roper.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Davis Barnes (David Barnes) of Weaverville and C. David Davis, Jr. (Sue Siebels) of Charlottesville, VA.; and her sisters, Judy R. Forbes of Elizabeth City, NC and Jackie R. Sawyer of Webster, MA. She is also survived by her husband, children, family, neighbors, and friends.
