He is survived by: his wife Judy Cody (Buckner) of Fletcher; his mother Emily Cody (Devlin); his daughters, Camile Warren (Jonathan) of Clayton, NC and Carolyn Rives (Robbie) of Mt. Airy; his sister Yvonne Hechler (Jerry) of Hamlet, NC; his grandchildren, Cody, Caiden, Christian and Beverly; his nieces and nephews, J. T. Hechler of Cheraw, SC, Chase Buckner (Stephanie) of Morrisville, Stefanie Hill (Lee) of Asheville and Kori Whitley (Wyatt) of Greenville, NC; and his dachshund Miss Penny.
