She was predeceased by: her husband Wade; and her brothers, Santiago Fernández and Castor Fernández. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Bernard (Huffman) of Mills River, Nidia Black (Huffman) of King George and Veronica Crenshaw (Huffman) of Fletcher; her siblings, Nidia Fernández of Oliver and Indalecio Fernández Torres of Palencia; her grandchildren, William Black of Charlottesville, Veronica Black-Pelletier of Montreal and Lauren Tinucci of New York; her great grandchild Damien Pelletier; and also, Canal Zone, Venezuela and Spain. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
