It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucie Gertrude Alexander (Fletcher, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thais Estelle Ray and Isaac Henry Smith II; her husband Marshall David Alexander; her children, Stewart Johnson of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Emilie Cunningham (Wes) of Waco; her grandsons, Truman Howard, Marco Valentine and Conrad Stewart; her brothers, Isaac Henry Smith III (Darlene) and Walter Herbert Soes; and her stepchildren, Christy Kennedy (Alex), David Alexander (Cathy) and Kevin Alexander (Jenifer).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CarePartners Hospice and Palliative Care and The North Carolina Arboretum.
