He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bailey and Elva Bailey (Bryant); and his sister-in-law Bobbie Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Eva Bailey (Queen) of Fletcher; his son Danny Bailey (Jodie) of Fletcher; and his siblings, Roger Bailey, Eloise Hild (Clark), Stella Jackson (Lee), Elaine Murphy (Jerry) and Joann Bailey.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sanctuary Mills Gap Baptist Church (370 Mills Gap Rd, Asheville, NC 28803).
