He is survived by: his wife Myriam Ferrer of González; his children, Dr. José E. González (Eileen Caquías-González) and Myriam Schulze (Walter Schulze III); his grandchildren, José E. González, Diego González, Gabriela González, Luke Schulze, Mark Schulze, Adrián González and Amaury González; and his sister Marta Sandler.
