He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Robinson Young; his children, James Gregory Young (Bianca), Diane Young Wilson, Kimberly Ann Young (Antoine) and Kevin Porter Young (Michelle); his grandchildren, Bryce Hazel, Azura Gregory, Maria Taylor and Colby Reagan; his great grandchild Zyheim Ponders; and his sisters, Betty Ream and Carolyn Owens.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
