He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul James and Pearl Eudoria Jenkins (Dockery); and his sister Barbara "Polly" Surrett. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jenkins of Fletcher; his children, Cathy Merrill (Tim) of Fletcher and David Jenkins (Tracey) of Springfield, TN; his grandchildren, Brandon Merrill (Adrienne) of Fletcher, Holly Drake (Nathaniel) of Fletcher, Lesley Colvin (Nathan) of Georgetown, IL and Ashley Jenkins of Springfield, TN; his great grandchildren, Emily, Kylie, Ryan Drake, Ruby Sircy, Gage and Evie Colvin; and his sisters, Nancy Woods (Bill), Jan Seiler (Larry), Mary Austin, Linda Jenkins and Sharon Tyndall (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
