She was predeceased by: her parents, James Payton and Bessie Lanning Payton; and her siblings, James Henry Payton, Francis Louise Conley and Mary Christine Laffitte.
She is survived by: her husband James R. Woody; her children, James A. Moorman, Jr. (Chae) and April M. McNeil; and her sisters, Rose Goggans, Joyce Ann Martin (John) and Debra Harper (Harry). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attendance will be limited to 50. Attendees must wear a face covering, sanitize hands and social distance.
