She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Henry Gasperson and Geneva Mae Harrison Gasperson; her husband Clarence Vernon Cordell; her children, Teresa Roberta Maynor and Clarence Vernon Cordell, Jr.; and her siblings, Evelyn Brock and Tony Gasperson.
She is survived by: her son Gregory Phillip Cordell; her grandchildren, Jackie Lynn Smith, Michael Cordell, Kylie Waddell (James) and Matthew Phillip Cordell (Katelyn); her great grandchildren, Tyler Davis, Alyssa Davis, Paislee Cordell, Jessica Smith, Aaron Smith, Jacob Smith, Nikki Smith and Anthony Smith; and her brother Clifford Gasperson (JoAnn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Fletcher First Baptist Church, 5 Cane Creek Rd, Fletcher, NC 28732.
