She was predeceased by: her parents, Kennis Edmonds and Myrtle Herndon Edmonds; her husband Jack Whitson; and her daughter Donna Harris. She is survived by: her sister Diane Lyons of Arden; her children, Cynthia Whitson and Stacey Whitson of Fletcher; her grandchildren, Jamie Harris (Kristie) of Hendersonville and Cara Pryor (Jason) of Hendersonville; and her great grandchildren, Quinn, Daphne Harris, Madeline and Benjamin Pryor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
