She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Nelson Suttles and Lila Davis Suttles; her husband Henry Lance; her son Johnny Lance; her grandsons, Scotty Thomas and Brandon Thomas; and her siblings, Wilburn Suttles and Pauline Ballinger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Thomas (late JC Thomas) and Cathy Lee (Eddie); her daughter-in-law Linda Lance; and her brother James Roy Suttles. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and twenty-one great great-grandchildren.
