He was predeceased by: his parents, Eros Pitts and Luellen Crow Pitts; and the mother of his children Jean Maxwell Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jones Pitts; his siblings, Tommy Pitts and Shirley Pitts Kidd; his sons, Mike Pitts (Penny) and Dan Pitts; his grandsons, Bryce and Ian Pitts; his great grandchildren, Ivan Dickson (Amy), Joanie Dickson, Lakelyn Faye Burgess and Kairi Rose Dickson; and also, Cody Dickson (Courtney) and Brianna Dickson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
