He was predeceased by: his mother Betty McDonald. He is survived by: his close friend Sam; his wife Wendy McDonald; his children, Samantha McDonald of Wilmington and Easton McDonald of Weaverville; his father Bud McDonald (Terrie) of Penrose, NC; his sister Debbie McDonald of Raleigh, NC; his stepsons, Austin Hall (Joahna) of Jefferson City, TN, Mark of Fletcher and Seth Hall of Fletcher; and his grandson Elijah Hall. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
